In a shocking incident in Hyderabad, a wedding hall owner was abducted by a group that included three police officers in plain clothes.
The victim was released after a ransom of Rs20 million was paid. Authorities have arrested and suspended the officers involved, and the ransom money has been recovered.
According to police, the owner was kidnapped from Hali Road by five individuals, including three plainclothes police officers. The three officers involved have been arrested and suspended, and the ransom money has been recovered.
Meanwhile, in Lahore’s Defence Phase A area, robbers looted valuables worth Rs190 million from a house.
Police said the homeowner had gone out for sehri with family when the robbers entered the house. Upon returning, the family was held at gunpoint while the thieves stole jewelry, watches, phones, and other items before fleeing.
Authorities are investigating the incidents and pursuing all leads to apprehend the culprits.
