Sindh Education Department has decided to recruit 1500 lecturers of different subjects in Sindh colleges to overcome the shortage of teachers.
Sindh government has also decided to lift 10-year ban on the appointment of lecturers in Sindh colleges.
According to details, over 172 male and female teachers are required for English, 154 teachers for Physics, 144 teachers for Urdu, 121 teachers for Mathematics, 98 teachers are required for Chemistry and 86 teachers for Pakistan Studies.
It is pertinent to mention here that there is a shortage of over 2500 subjects’ teachers in Sindh colleges.
