A cylinder explosion occurred at a scrap shop near Ghaghar Phatak in Karachi, killing one man, it emerged on Thursday.
According to rescue officials, one person lost his life in the blast during the blast. The deceased’s body was shifted to Jinnah Hospital.
Meanwhile, in Lahore’s Allama Iqbal Town, a woman was injured due to a cylinder explosion on the upper floor of a private office. Emergency response teams transferred the injured woman to Jinnah Hospital for medical treatment.
Police said that the explosion occurred in the kitchen of the private office, sparking a fire. Edhi volunteers and other rescue teams reached the scene and successfully extinguished the blaze.
The injured woman, identified as 50-year-old Samina, suffered burns and was taken to Jinnah Hospital for treatment.
