In Lahore’s Harbanspura area near Nadir Market, a gas cylinder explosion occurred in a house, resulting in the death of three people and injuries to seven others, causing panic in the area, as reported by national media on Monday.
According to details, a loud explosion took place in Lahore’s Harbanspura area due to the bursting of a gas cylinder, causing the building to collapse. The debris from the affected house also fell onto a neighboring house.
Due to the intensity of the explosion, the first floor of the house collapsed, killing three people trapped under the rubble, including a mother and her son.
The rescue team managed to pull five people out alive from the debris, while the injured were shifted to the hospital for medical treatment.
Following the explosion, panic spread in the area, while police and rescue officials have launched an investigation to determine the cause of the incident.
