Kashmiris across the world, including in occupied Kashmir and Pakistan, are observing Black Day today with full spirit to express solidarity with the Kashmiri people and to protest against Indian occupation.
In this regard, a central solidarity walk will be held in Islamabad from the Foreign Office to D-Chowk. Banners reading “Kashmir will become Pakistan” have been displayed on Constitution Avenue, Parliament House, and D-Chowk.
Protest walks, seminars, photo exhibitions, and solidarity rallies will be organized across the country. Posters and flexes of Black Day will be installed on the roads, intersections, and government buildings in Islamabad.
Black Day rallies and walks will be held in Islamabad, Muzaffarabad, Karachi, Lahore, and Peshawar. One minute of silence will be observed at 10 a.m. in remembrance of Kashmiri martyrs.
The Black Day events will express the bond of faith, solidarity, and determination for freedom with the Kashmiri people. A demand will also be made for the international community to take notice of serious human rights violations in Kashmir.
Under the Federal Ministry of Education, Black Day ceremonies will also be held in schools and colleges. National unity will be demonstrated in Gilgit-Baltistan, Azad Kashmir, and all four provinces.
