Pakistani TV and film actress Sarwat Gilani says she was treated unprofessionally by Humayun Saeed’s production team and director Nadeem Baig during the Jawani Phir Nahi Ani films.
During an interview, Gilani expressed her disappointment with how she was treated by Saeed’s production team.
Her part in the first film was cut without notice; she returned for the sequel after Baig promised a full character arc that she says was not delivered.
She booked her own tickets for the J.P.N.A. 2 London promotional tour but discovered the team had already left and she was not included.
After the project finished, she says the team ignored her, and she felt “used.” She will not join Jawani Phir Nahi Ani 3.

She also said that she does not hold personal grudges, as she still respects and meets Humayun Saeed and Nadeem Baig cordially.
She likes Saeed, Baig, and Ahmed Ali Butt personally but won’t work with a team she feels doesn’t value relationships once a project ends.
In 2020 she publicly expressed enthusiasm about working with Humayun Saeed, and Saeed has praised her.
In 2016 she helped redesign Saeed’s office (she also works as an interior designer).
