Gold prices continued the upward trend in Pakistan as the price of per tola gold further surged by Rs 6,900 per tola on Tuesday, following the prices of the yellow metal hitting a new record high in the global market.

As per the data shared by the All Pakistan Sarafa Jems and Jewelers Association, the price of 24 karat gold increased by Rs 6900 per tola to Rs 435100, while the price of 10grams of 24 karat gold reached Rs 373028 after an increase of Rs 5916.
Similarly, the price of 10grams of 22 karat gold surged by Rs 5423 to Rs 341954. On the global front, the price of the precious metal hit a new all-time high of $4140 per ounce following a surge of $ 69.
Silver prices remained stable both in the local and international markets.
