The German Consulate in Karachi will remain closed from July 8 to July 11, 2025 for operational reasons.
In an official statement, the consulate said that all visa appointments scheduled during this period will be rescheduled. However, passport collection facilities will continue during this closure.
German visa applications are processed through consulates in Karachi, Islamabad and Lahore, where services are provided for various types of visas including student, employment, business and tourism.
Due to high demand, applicants are advised to book their appointments well in advance and keep an eye on the consulate for updates regarding any changes in services.
It is worth mentioning that Germany remains a preferred destination for Pakistani citizens for education, employment and tourism.
