ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister for Science and Technology Fawad Chaudhry has announced a campaign for the implementation of the media laws.
In a tweet posted by Fawad Chaudhry, the federal minister wrote that changing a system required the collective effort of all segments and for that, the incumbent government has launched a great campaign for media laws so it can be properly enforced.

The move came after cricketer Muhammad Hafeez in a tweet, complained that being a cricketer, he and many other players have been many times targeted by the media.
According to Hafeez, as a cricketer, they’ve been targeted by false and fabricated news.
The media had damaged players’ reputation worldwide, he wrote in a tweet.

* Jihnian Tan meray lagiaan Tainoon Ek lagay tay tou Janay * @fawadchaudhry sb Many times in media we as crickter been targeted by false & fabricated news & damaged our reputation worldwide we complained but never been addressed ever but hopefully this issue wil be addressed now pic.twitter.com/cKm7tIMzJp

Earlier on 30th December, Chaudhry demanded a strict international framework on space missions.
In his tweet, Chaudhry posted that protecting the space was as important as protecting the environment.
He wrote, “Space belonged to every human, its as important as protecting the environment we need a strict international framework on space missions.”
Chaudhry’s tweet came after the report of Nasa’s Orbital Debris Programme Office (ODPO) that included India in the countries contributing to space junk. How ever, New Delhi’s contribution in that space junk is much less than the top three polluters: Russia, the US, and China.
