K-Electric has announced planned power outages for 3 May 2026, affecting 11 of the city’s 2,129 feeders due to transformer maintenance and repair work.
According to the utility company, the work will be carried out at various locations between 8:59 am and 6:00 pm. As a result, temporary electricity disruptions are expected in the affected areas.
Residents may face load-shedding ranging from a minimum of five hours to a maximum of 10 hours, depending on the location and nature of the maintenance work.

Power supply to Aiwán-e-Saddar RMU, CBR Income Tax Building, Darululoom (Old Rustam Ice), Javed Metal, Khas Traders, London Tannery, and PSO feeders will remain suspended from 08:59 to 17:59.
Asia Textile Mills, Platinum Pharma, and Railway Marshalling Yard feeders will experience outages from 09:59 to 17:59.
Meanwhile, electricity supply to Balochistan Foundry will be disrupted for a shorter duration, from 11:59 to 13:59.
