Aleema Khan, sister of PTI founder Imran Khan, has expressed serious concerns over his health, claiming that he could be at risk of further eye damage.
Speaking to the media at Factory Naka, Aleema Khan said that medical experts had warned that “something could be added to his food or drink” that may further affect his eyesight. She added that if one eye has already been affected, the other could also be at risk.
She urged that Imran Khan be shifted to Shifa International Hospital in the presence of his family. According to her, he had earlier informed his lawyer Sultan Safdar that his vision initially improved after the first injection, but subsequent treatment did not bring further improvement.
Aleema Khan also rejected claims regarding Imran Khan’s physical condition, saying he continues to exercise for around two and a half hours daily despite reports suggesting otherwise.
She added that he had even complained about being unable to clearly see people nearby.
Commenting on legal representation, she said Barrister Salman Safdar is representing both Imran Khan and Bushra Bibi, and dismissed speculation against him, calling him a professional lawyer. She alleged that any propaganda against him is being spread by “agencies,” not PTI members.
She further said that the scheduled meeting day with Imran Khan and Bushra Bibi had ended without any family access being granted. She added that all three of Imran Khan’s sisters, along with party workers, remained present at Factory Naka, while Bushra Bibi’s sister-in-law and daughter were also reportedly waiting nearby.
