According to an Iranian news agency, FM Abbas Araghchi presented Iran’s written conditions for the United States to Pakistan during his visit to Islamabad.
The report states that Iran clearly outlined its “red lines” regarding its nuclear programme and the Strait of Hormuz in the submitted document.
According to the agency, the Iranian Foreign Minister also discussed proposed new regulations for the Strait of Hormuz, the lifting of the blockade, compensation, and non-aggression commitments.
It is worth noting that Abbas Araghchi departed for Russia after a brief visit to Pakistan. During his stay, he held key meetings with Pakistan’s political and military leadership, including two meetings within 24 hours with Field Marshal Asim Munir.
He also visited Muscat, where he met the Sultan of Oman, and held telephone conversations with the foreign ministers of Saudi Arabia and Qatar.
