Gold prices in Pakistan fell on Thursday, tracking losses in the international market. In the local bullion market, the price of gold per tola dropped by Rs5,200 to settle at Rs493,762.
Similarly, the rate for 10 grams of gold declined by Rs4,458, bringing it down to Rs423,321, according to figures released by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewelers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).
On Wednesday, gold prices had also recorded a decline, with the per tola rate slipping by Rs1,200 to close at Rs498,962.
In the international market, gold prices fell by $52 per ounce, reaching $4,714, which includes a premium of $20.
Meanwhile, silver prices also moved downward, dropping by Rs225 to settle at Rs8,099 per tola.
It should be noted that the All Pakistan Gems and Jewelers Sarafa Association (APGJSA) releases official gold rates at around 1 PM from Monday to Saturday.
