Iran has unveiled a special musical tribute dedicated to Field Marshal Asim Munir, recognizing his role in promoting peace and stability in the region.
The song, seen as a symbolic gesture of goodwill, marks a rare instance of Iran honoring a foreign military leader through cultural expression. Titled “Khush Aamdeed ae Sipah Salar Mohtaram, Khush Aamadi be Tehran,” it has been performed by Iranian artist Reza Bahrami.

According to Iranian media, such a tribute is unprecedented, underscoring both the significance of the visit and the strengthening relationship between Tehran and Islamabad.

Field Marshal Munir, who serves as Pakistan’s Chief of Defence Forces and Chief of Army Staff, arrived in Tehran on Wednesday. During his visit, he held meetings with senior officials, including Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi, as confirmed by the Iranian government.
Pakistan military’s media wing, Inter-Services Public Relations, described the trip as part of ongoing diplomatic efforts aimed at easing tensions between Iran and the United States.
