Member of the National Assembly Sher Afzal Marwat has said that only the sisters of Imran Khan have access to him, claiming that this limited access is one of the reasons he has not been released from jail.
Speaking to the media in Dera Ismail Khan, Marwat criticised the party leadership, stating that they neither work themselves nor allow others to do so.
He added that the party would need to persuade Ali Amin Gandapur to bring him back, alleging that accusations had previously been made to remove him.
He further criticised the current leadership, saying that an individual has been made chief minister who “cannot even run a primary school”, and claimed that the present Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has failed to form a cabinet even after six months.
Marwat questioned allegations regarding links with the establishment, asking which chief minister does not maintain such contacts. He claimed that while Gandapur is accused of such links, the current chief minister is “ten steps ahead” in this regard.
He added that the party would not progress unless Ali Amin Gandapur and Gohar Ali Khan are brought forward.
