Masoud Pezeshkian has said that Iran will not launch any attacks or missile strikes against neighbouring countries.
In a statement, Pezeshkian said Iran apologises to neighbouring states over the attacks carried out in recent days, adding that Tehran has no intention of targeting other countries.
The Iranian president further said that the interim leadership council has approved a decision not to carry out any attacks or missile strikes against neighbouring nations.
He added that no attacks or missile strikes will be launched against neighbouring countries unless Iran itself is attacked from their territory.
Pezeshkian also stated that Iran will not surrender before the United States and Israel, saying the enemy will have to take its desire of seeing the Iranian people surrender “to the grave”.
It is worth mentioning that following the attacks on Iran by the United States and Israel, Iran targeted American military bases located in neighbouring countries, resulting in injuries to several civilians.
