What started as a piece of friendly industry advice has spiraled into a viral social media moment. Superstar Fahad Mustafa has fired back at veteran actress Atiqa Odho with a sharp, humorous, and controversial “clap back” that has left fans divided.
The exchange began when Atiqa Odho, during an appearance on Hasna Mana Hai, suggested that the Kabhi Main Kabhi Tum star should transition away from “college-level” characters and start acting alongside “women of his own age.”

Responding from the set of his latest project, Fahad didn’t hold back. In a lighthearted but biting retort, he quipped that if Atiqa underwent “two or three more surgeries,” he might finally be able to collaborate with her on-screen.
The banter didn’t stop there. Fahad jokingly added.
He teased that Atiqa has managed to remain a “heroine” in her own right.

He suggested that both he and fellow superstar Humayun Saeed would be more than happy to work with her once the “age gap” was visually bridged.
The ‘Kabhi Main Kabhi Tum’ Connection
This isn’t the first time the two have been linked to age-related casting discussions. Atiqa recently revealed she was the first choice to play Fahad’s mother in the blockbuster drama Kabhi Main Kabhi Tum.
She reportedly turned down the role (which eventually went to Bushra Ansari) because she felt playing the mother of a contemporary like Fahad was “age-inappropriate” for her.
A Mixed Bag of Mutual Respect
Despite the “savage” back-and-forth, there appears to be no real bad blood. Atiqa has previously hailed Fahad as a “true actor,” praising his versatility and performance in recent hits. This latest exchange is being viewed by many as the typical “industry banter” that defines the close-knit world of Lollywood.
Fans are split, with some calling Fahad’s surgery comment “unnecessarily harsh,” while others are praising his “savage wit” and ability to take a joke and turn it around.
