If you are an anime fan, then you would thrilled to know that CloverWorks’ martial-arts anime Wind Breaker is set to premiere on Netflix on March 2, 2026.
This actioned-packed delinquent anime, directed by Toshifumi Akai, is based on Satoru Nii’s popular manga of the same name, which began serialization in January 2021 and quickly gained a strong fan following.
The story primarily revolves around Haruka Sakura, a transfer student at Furin High School, an institution known for its tough delinquents.
However, things don’t take the routine path in this one as rather than causing trouble, the students of Furin act as protectors of their town, using their fighting skills to defend it from outside threats.
As Sakura navigates his new environment, he encounters fierce rivalries, personal growth, and a sense of camaraderie among unlikely heroes.
It should be noted that Netflix will releases only Season 1 and the second season is unlikely to arrive on Netflix before March 2027. However, Season 2, already aired in Japan from April to June 2025, is currently streaming on Crunchyroll.
