A recently released prisoner in Türkiye’s capital, Ankara, shot dead his mother, wife and daughter before taking his own life, according to foreign media reports.
The incident reportedly occurred on the day of his release from prison.
Media sources state that the suspect had been serving a sentence on charges of fraud and armed threats and had been granted temporary release for 11 days.

Shortly after his release, the man allegedly opened fire on his family members, killing his mother, wife and daughter.
He later died by suicide after shooting himself, reports added. Authorities are said to be investigating the circumstances surrounding the tragic incident.
