Shahid Kapoor and Triptii Dimri’s upcoming romantic underworld drama, O’ Romeo, is scheduled to hit theaters during Valentine’s Week on 13 February 2026.
The lead actors shared their perspectives on romance during the film’s promotional activities.

Shahid Kapoor described romance as “the most beautiful thing in life.” He has also praised the film’s intense emotional core, noting that while it has a violent background, it is deeply rooted in an “unrequited love story.”
On the other hand, Triptii defined herself as being “a bit romantic and a realist.”
She has spoken about the depth of her character and the challenging yet “brilliant journey” of portraying such an intense role under director Vishal Bhardwaj.
About the Film
Vishal Bhardwaj is marking his fourth collaboration with Shahid Kapoor after Kaminey, Haider, and Rangoon as a director.
The plot of the movie is based on the book Mafia Queens of Mumbai by Hussain Zaidi; the story follows a rowdy soul named Ustara (Shahid) and his complex relationship with Triptii’s character.
It also features soulful tracks like “Ishq Ka Fever” and “Hum Toh Tere Hi Liye The,” composed by Vishal Bhardwaj with lyrics by Gulzar and vocals by Arijit Singh.
In other casts, Nana Patekar, Avinash Tiwary, Disha Patani, Farida Jalal, Aruna Irani, Nana Patekar, and Vikrant Massey are included.
