Lahore: Comedian-turned-singer Chahat Fateh Ali Khan, who rose to fame through his humorous style of singing, has arrived in Lahore to celebrate the Basant festival.
The government has permitted Basant celebrations in Lahore from 6 to 8 February, following which the city’s skies are currently filled with colourful kites.
Lahore residents are celebrating the Basant festival with great enthusiasm, with numerous videos being shared on social media showcasing the festivities.
Not wanting to miss out, social media sensation Chahat Fateh Ali Khan also made his way to Lahore to take part in the celebrations.
The singer shared a video on Instagram in which he can be seen dancing while holding kites. He was also dressed in a bright pink outfit, matching the vibrant colours traditionally associated with Basant.
The video has gone viral on social media, attracting a wide range of reactions and comments from users.
