In a moment that left onlookers stunned, an elderly man narrowly escaped death after falling onto the railway track at Karachi’s Drug Road Station moments before a train arrived. A video of the incident has since gone viral, showing how quick thinking turned a tragedy into a miracle.
According to details, an elderly man fell from the platform onto the track at Drug Road just as a train started moving.
The elderly man showed presence of mind and lay face down at the edge, as a result of which he did not even suffer a scratch.
After stopping the train, the elderly man was pulled out and was found to be completely safe and in good spirits.
Eyewitnesses said that if the elderly man had made even a slight movement, he could have come under the train.
According to railway police, the train was stopped on an emergency basis and the elderly man was brought back onto the platform safely.
