A suspect involved in the alleged sexual assault of a private school teacher and the circulation of her video on social media has been arrested in the jurisdiction of Saddar Police Station, Alipur.
Police registered a case on the woman’s complaint and took the accused into custody.
According to the police, the suspect had been persistently harassing the woman and, after she refused to establish an illicit relationship, he shared obscene videos of her online.
Following the victim’s request, police formally registered the case and arrested the accused.
Earlier in November, a private school owner in Tehsil Alipur, Muzaffargarh was accused of abusing and blackmailing female teachers for several years.
The suspect, Hidayat Razzvi, had reportedly been involved in making objectionable videos of female teachers and using them for blackmail over an extended period.
Police, although registered the case, the suspect remained at large. Meanwhile, a second FIR was filed by another victim’s father, accusing that the suspect of committing assault and blackmail for the past three years.
