Chief of Army Staff (COAS) and Chief of Defence Forces (CDF), Field Marshal Asim Munir, visited Bahawalpur Garrison, where he was briefed on various operational, training, and administrative aspects of the Corps, with special focus on preparations for multi-domain warfare.
Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir observed the high-intensity field exercise “Steadfast Resolve” at Khairpur Tamewali (KPT).
The exercise featured a practical demonstration of advanced and specialized technologies, including Unmanned Aerial Systems (drones), modern surveillance equipment, Electronic Warfare Systems, and cutting-edge Command and Control systems.
These displays reflect the Pakistan Armed Forces’ strong emphasis on technology-driven, multi-domain operations.
While addressing the soldiers, Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir praised their high morale, professional excellence, and operational readiness.
He reaffirmed the commitment that the Pakistan Armed Forces remain fully prepared at all times to defend the country’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.
He further emphasized the necessity of maintaining a high level of preparedness to effectively tackle future combat environments and evolving security challenges.
