Industry reports confirm that a teaser for Dhurandhar 2, the sequel to Aditya Dhar’s 2025 blockbuster starring Ranveer Singh, will premiere in theaters nationwide alongside the release of Border 2 on January 23, 2026.
The teaser will initially be a “big screen exclusive” to capitalize on the audience attending the high-octane war drama Border 2 before its digital release later.
Director Aditya Dhar has reportedly re-edited the end-credit sequence from the first Dhurandhar film, incorporating new visuals to create a sharper, high-impact preview.
The decision by Jio Studios to attach the teaser to Border 2 is intended to leverage a shared “patriotic cinema wave,” as both films explore nationalistic themes.

Dhurandhar 2 is officially locked for an Eid 2026 release on March 19, 2026.
The film is set to compete directly with Yash’s Toxic: A Fairytale for Grown-Ups on its release date.
A complete theatrical trailer is expected to debut towards the end of February 2026.
Dhurandhar 2 follows the massive success of the original film, which grossed approximately ₹1,300 crore worldwide.
The sequel will explore the backstory of Ranveer Singh’s character, Hamza, alongside an ensemble cast including Sanjay Dutt, R. Madhavan, Akshaye Khanna, and Arjun Rampal.
