Junaid Safdar, son of Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz and grandson of former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, has tied the knot with Shanzeh Ali Rohale in Lahore.
The Barat ceremony was held during the daytime at a farmhouse in the city and was hosted by the bride’s family.
The event was attended by close relatives and friends from both families, along with a number of political workers associated with the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) and other political parties.
The wedding celebrations were kept largely private, with security arrangements in place at the venue.

It is worth noting that Shanzeh Rohail, is the granddaughter of senior PMLN leader and former Member of the National Assembly Sheikh Rohail Asghar.However,the family is considered to be the first family of Pakistan.
The walima reception will be held on January 18 at Jatiumra.
The walima is expected to be the largest gathering of the wedding festivities, with nearly 800 guests on the invitation list.
