Gold prices in Pakistan on Friday snapped their gaining streak as the price of the yellow metal dropped by Rs3,700 to reach Rs482,462 in the local market.

Likewise, the price of 10 grams of gold rose by Rs3,687 to Rs416,805, according to figures released by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewelers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).
In the international market, gold prices dropped by $37 to $4,601 per ounce, inclusive of a $20 premium.

Silver prices also edged lower, with the per tola rate decreasing by Rs150 to Rs9,425.
