Foreign currency rates in Pakistan on January 15, 2026

The Pakistani rupee edged higher against the US dollar on Wednesday, posting a marginal 0.01% appreciation in the inter-bank market.

By the close of trading, the local currency settled at 279.97 per dollar, strengthening by Rs0.03. In the previous session on Tuesday, the rupee had ended at 280.00.

In the open market, the rupee decreased by Rs.0.05 to close at 282.75.
