The concerns of private schools in Sindh regarding the verification of scholarship data by the Anti-Corruption Department have been addressed following a high-level meeting with the Minister of Education, Sindh, and the Chairman of the Anti-Corruption Department, Sindh.
Representatives of the Grand Alliance of Private Schools Associations, Sindh, met with the officials, who acknowledged the schools’ concerns and assured that neither parents nor school administrations in any district of Sindh would face difficulties.
Following these assurances, the strike planned for Friday, January 9, 2026, has been officially called off.
All private educational institutions in Sindh will remain open and operate normally on that day.
The Grand Alliance of Private Schools Associations, Sindh, thanked the officials for their prompt attention and resolution of the matter.
