Is ‘His & Hers’ based on a book?

Limited series have been popular on Netflix as the streaming giant has released another murder mystery “His & Hers,” on January 8.

The story of the latest mystery revolves around Atlanta news anchor, Anna played by Tessa Thompson as she tries to reclaim her career through a ghastly murder case.

On the other hand, a hot-blooded detective, Jack (Jon Bernthal), who is also the estranged husband of Anna, leading the investigation. He becomes increasingly concerned that Anna has other motives.

The story begins with themes of revenge, female rage, and deception, before gradually unfolding into a deeper exploration of grief, marriage, and parenthood.
