Netflix’s latest murder mystery, His & Hers, premiered on the platform on January 8, 2026. The six-part limited series is based on the acclaimed novel of the same name by Alice Feeney and adapted for television by William Oldroyd.
Set in town of Dahlonega, Georgia (even though the book is set in a British village), the series follows Anna Andrews (Tessa Thompson), a reclusive former news anchor, and Detective Jack Harper (Jon Bernthal), her estranged husband.
When a woman from their past is found murdered in their hometown, both become deeply involved in the investigation, eventually suspecting each other of the crime. The narrative revolves around the idea that “there are two sides to every story,” suggesting that one of the two protagonists is lying.
