Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir has stated that there is a zero-tolerance policy towards threats to national security and that the Pakistan Army remains fully committed to confronting all types of challenges.
According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir visited the Lahore Garrison, where he was briefed on the operational preparedness of the formations.
During the visit, he reviewed training exercises conducted under the formation and emphasized the importance of innovation, preparedness, and readiness for future warfare. The Army Chief also appreciated the sports and recreational facilities provided to the troops.
ISPR further said that the Army Chief visited the High Care Centre at CMH Lahore, where he lauded the services of the medical staff and hospital administration.
Separately, the Chief of the Saudi Air Force held a meeting with his Pakistani counterpart, during which both sides discussed prospects for expanding military cooperation.
Addressing officers at the Lahore Garrison, the Chief of Defence Forces reiterated that safeguarding national sovereignty and territorial integrity is the Pakistan Army’s foremost mission. He said the Pakistan Armed Forces remain resolute in protecting the country’s sovereignty, territorial integrity, and internal stability.
Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir added that the armed forces are promoting high standards, discipline, and selfless service to the nation while maintaining strong capabilities to adapt to modern warfare requirements. He stressed that the physical fitness and morale of soldiers remain a top priority.
