According to fact-checks, the image is being falsely linked to claims about Deepika Padukone’s 40th birthday celebration, reportedly held on January 5, 2026.
However, no verified reports or credible sources have confirmed that such a party took place or that the actresses were present together at any event on that date.
Experts examining the image noted multiple indicators of AI-generated or digitally altered content, including inconsistencies in facial features, lighting, and background details.
Additionally, neither Deepika Padukone, Shraddha Kapoor, nor Alia Bhatt shared any such photographs on their official social media accounts.
Fan pages and entertainment portals also failed to provide authentic evidence supporting the claim. As a result, the viral image has been debunked and identified as a digitally manipulated creation rather than a genuine old Bollywood photograph.
The incident highlights growing concerns over the misuse of AI-generated visuals to spread misinformation online, prompting calls for increased public awareness and responsible sharing on social media platforms.
