Pakistani cinema’s popular on-screen pair Fahad Mustafa and Mehwish Hayat are set to reunite for an upcoming feature film, marking their first collaboration in nearly eight years.
The project will be directed by Nabeel Qureshi, with filming already underway in Karachi, sources have confirmed.
The duo last appeared together in the blockbuster social comedy “Load Wedding,” which was released in August 2018 and received widespread acclaim for its performances and message-driven narrative.
Their reunion has sparked excitement among fans, who have long awaited their return to the big screen together.
The new film is being produced under the banner of Filmwala Pictures by the successful director-producer duo Nabeel Qureshi and Fizza Ali Meerza, known for delivering commercially successful and socially relevant films.
Both Fahad Mustafa and Mehwish Hayat have previously worked with the Filmwala team on multiple hit projects.
While the title, complete cast, and storyline of the film are currently being kept under wraps, industry insiders suggest the project is expected to be a major cinematic release.
