Karachi: In Pakistan’s local bullion markets, the price of gold on 6 January stands at Rs464,762 per tola, with buying and selling continuing at this rate until 3:00 pm.
Revised prices will be issued thereafter by the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association (APSGJA).
Following a notable increase in gold and silver prices recorded on Monday, 5 January, the price of gold on 6 January has reached Rs464,762 per tola, while 10 grams of gold is being traded at Rs398,458.
According to the APSGJA, 10 grams of 22-carat gold is currently being sold at Rs365,266 in the local market.
Silver prices have also risen, with 24-carat silver priced at Rs8,023 per tola, while 10 grams of silver has climbed to Rs6,878.
Meanwhile, in the international market, gold is trading at $4,424 per ounce, while silver has reached $75.48 per ounce, marking record levels.
