Gold prices in Pakistan fell on Saturday, tracking a downturn in the global market.
In the domestic market, the price of gold per tola dropped by Rs4,700 to settle at Rs455,562.
Likewise, the price of 10 grams of gold declined by Rs4,030, reaching Rs390,570, according to figures released by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewelers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).
A day earlier, on Friday, gold prices had climbed, with the per-tola rate rising by Rs5,700 to Rs460,262.
Internationally, gold prices slipped by $47 to $4,332 per ounce, including a $20 premium.
Meanwhile, silver prices also eased, falling by Rs106 to Rs7,756 per tola.
It should be noted that the All Pakistan Gems and Jewelers Sarafa Association (APGJSA) releases official gold rates at around 1 PM from Monday to Saturday.
