Witnesses and viral social media footage showed the content creator being beaten, resulting in visible injuries to his jaw and mouth.
His clothes were torn as he was moved through a chaotic crowd. Court security and police personnel eventually intervened to extract Butt from the scene and restore order.
Background of the Case
The hearing was related to a case registered under Section 295-A of the Pakistan Penal Code (hurting religious sentiments).

The case stems from a 2024 video in which Butt allegedly performed Namaz (prayer) with music playing in the background.
He was granted interim bail on December 20, 2024, against a surety bond of Rs100,000, with today (Dec 29) set as the date for confirmation.
Despite the violence, the court extended his interim bail until January 13, 2026.
While the case involves religious sentiments, lawyers involved in the scuffle claimed the assault was triggered by Butt’s alleged history of insulting the legal fraternity.
Riaz Solangi, the complainant in the blasphemy case, was seen in videos alleging that Butt had used “inappropriate language” against lawyers in previous content.
Butt’s legal counsel, Mian Ali Ashfaq, strongly condemned the incident, labeling it “unprofessional” and a “breach of law.”
He argued that such acts of “mob justice” within judicial premises undermine the reputation of the legal community and public confidence in the justice system.
On social media, the incident has sparked a heated debate. While some users condemned the violence as a sign of growing lawlessness, others pointed to the YouTuber’s history of controversial “stunt” content as a factor in the public’s polarising response.
