At least 8 terrorists were killed by security forces in Kalat, Balochistan, said a statement by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).
According to the Pakistan Army’s Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), on 24 December, security forces carried out an intelligence-based operation in Kalat district of Balochistan after receiving information about the presence of terrorists belonging to the Indian proxy group “Fitna-e-Hindustan.”
During the operation, the security forces effectively targeted the terrorists’ hideout, and after an intense exchange of fire, eight India-backed terrorists were neutralized.
According to the military spokesperson, weapons, ammunition, and explosive material were also recovered from the possession of the killed terrorists. These terrorists had been actively involved in multiple terrorist activities in the area.
Clearance and search operations are ongoing in the area to eliminate any other terrorists operating under Indian patronage.
ISPR said that, in line with the vision “Azm-e-Istehkam” approved by the Federal Apex Committee under the National Action Plan, security forces and law enforcement agencies will continue counterterrorism operations until the complete eradication of foreign-sponsored terrorism.
