The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has announced an extraordinary and encouraging response to the tender for the sale of two new Pakistan Super League (PSL) teams.
According to the PCB, 12 parties submitted formal bids within the stipulated deadline.
The board said the bidders come from five continents, including the United States, Australia, Canada, the United Arab Emirates, and Pakistan, highlighting the PSL’s global popularity and appeal.
The results of this bidding stage will be announced on 27 December.
In the next phase, technically qualified bidders will have the opportunity to purchase the two new teams through an open competitive bidding process.
This stage will take place on 8 January at the Islamabad Convention Centre.
The PCB said it is committed to conducting the process transparently, competitively, and according to international standards to ensure the further expansion and growth of the Pakistan Super League.
