Pine nuts are among the most expensive dry fruits in Pakistan and are sold at varying prices in different cities. Depending on quality, prices range from Rs7,000 to Rs15,000 per kilogram.
Even at the minimum rate of Rs7,000 per kilogram, the total value of the stolen 550 kilograms comes to Rs3.85 million, which supports the victim’s claim. The affected trader has stressed that the incorrect valuation in the FIR should be rectified.
