The Islamabad Electric Supply Company (IESCO) has issued a schedule for temporary power outages in various areas of the federal capital due to essential maintenance and minor development works.
According to IESCO, electricity supply will remain suspended in different localities from 9:00am to 2:00pm on December 16.
The company stated that these measures are being taken to improve the power system and ensure better service for consumers.
As per the list released by IESCO, areas affected by the outage include the CDA Office, Service Road East, Iqbal Town, G-6/3, and Islamabad Club. In addition, CDA Pump, Orchard Scheme, Athal, Babul Islam, F-8, G-9 Markaz, FHS, and I-8/4 will also face power suspension.
Other affected areas include I-10/1, G-13/1, Railway Road, Rehra, CM Pak Zong, Kuri, the Isolation Hospital, and PHA-1. IESCO further stated that power outages are expected in and around Pindi Point, Kohala, Bilawara, Pir Sohawa, nearby residential localities, and Park Road.
IESCO has advised consumers to take necessary precautions during the power suspension and to contact the relevant complaint centers in case of any inconvenience.
