NADRA has taken an important step to further secure citizens’ family trees by making it mandatory to include photographs on the B-Form for children aged 3 to 10 years.
For children aged 10 to 18 years, fingerprints will also be collected. Children under the age of 3 will not require a photograph on their B-Form.
According to NADRA, a child must be registered at the Union Council within one month of birth.
This measure is intended to prevent the entry of unrelated individuals into the family tree.
The B-Form is not only necessary for educational purposes but also required for hospital admission and medical treatment.
Therefore, parents are advised to have their child’s B-Form prepared promptly according to the child’s age.
