Gold prices in Pakistan on Monday surged, reflecting an upward in the international market. In the local market, the price of gold increased by Rs1,600, bringing the per-tola rate to Rs443,762.
Likewise, the price of 10-gram gold gained Rs1,372, settling at Rs380,454, according to figures released by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewelers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).
On Saturday, the per-tola price had dropped Rs2,300 to reach Rs442,162.

Internationally, gold prices increased by $16, reaching $4,214 per ounce (including a $20 premium).
Meanwhile, silver prices also followed the trend, gaining Rs30 to settle at Rs6,102 per tola.
