Frustration and “deepening fears” escalated among PTI leadership today as Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister and senior PTI leader Sohail Afridi was reportedly barred from meeting party founder Imran Khan at Adiala Jail.
In a dramatic escalation, the Chief Minister began a sit-in protest in Gorakhpur, Adiala Road, a little far from the prison premises.
Sohail Afridi confirmed the denial of access, highlighting a prolonged period of isolation for the jailed leader. Speaking to the media, Afridi stated
“Today is November 27. Since October 27, Imran Khan has been allowed neither to meet his sisters nor his lawyers. Our concerns are growing; they must decide which side they stand on.”

The Chief Minister’s decision to stage a sit-in protest underscores the party’s serious apprehension regarding the former Prime Minister’s well-being and security.
The protest serves as a direct challenge to jail authorities and the Punjab government, demanding immediate, unrestricted access to the PTI founder.
The action follows weeks of heightened rumors concerning Imran Khan’s health, which had previously forced both Adiala Jail officials and the Punjab government to issue firm denials, asserting that the PTI founder is “completely healthy” and secure.
