Five dead, including four children, while three left injured as house roof collapsed in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s Nowshera district.
According to details, the roof of a house in Dag Jadeed, an area of Pabbi tehsil, suddenly caved in, trapping eight people under the debris.
Rescue officials said that five individuals died on the spot, including four children, while three others were injured in the collapse.
According to rescue authorities, those who lost their lives in the incident include 30-year-old Rizwan, 9-year-old Walida, 6-year-old Ayan, 5-year-old Hafsa, and 4-year-old Dua.
Rescue teams managed to retrieve all those trapped under the rubble after sustained efforts. The injured were given first aid and later shifted to Pabbi Hospital.
Rescue officials added that the house had become extremely dilapidated, which led to the tragic incident.
