Senior Sindh Minister Sharjeel Inam Memon has announced a new route of the women-only Pink Bus Service in Karachi.
The dedicated women-only bus service aims to prioritize comfort and safety for female passengers, addressing the daily travel challenges many face in a city as large as Karachi.
Each bus will be equipped with security measures, tracking systems and trained staff to ensure a safer commuting experience. The Sindh government also plans to expand the service to additional areas as the project progresses.
The initiative is part of a broader effort to provide women with dependable and secure transport options, enabling them to access education and employment opportunities with greater convenience and confidence.
Pink Bus’s new route details
The route will run from Abdullah Chowk in Surjani Town to Numaish. The service will be available at three specific times throughout the day, from 8am to 9am, 1pm to 2pm, and 5pm to 7pm.
