After putting into bat, Sri Lanka scored 288 runs for the loss of 8 wickets in the allotted overs.
Janith Liyanage was the standout performer for Sri Lanka, scoring 54 runs. Chamindu Vaas Mendes contributed 44, Sadira Samarakoon 42, Kamil Mashara 27, Pathum Nissanka 24, Koshal Mendes 20, captain Charith Asalanka 6, and Dushmantha Chameera 0. Wanindu Hasaranga and Pramod Madushan remained not out with 37 and 11 runs respectively.
For Pakistan, Abrar Ahmed and Haris Rauf took 3 wickets each, while Mohammad Wasim Jr. claimed 1 wicket.
Pakistan’s captain Shaheen Shah Afridi is unavailable for today’s match due to illness, with Salman Ali Agha leading the side in his absence. Mohammad Wasim Jr. has been included in the playing XI.
It is worth noting that Pakistan won the first match of the series, defeating Sri Lanka by 6 runs.
