Pakistan’s Roshan Digital Account (RDA) initiative continued to post solid growth in October 2025, attracting $205 million in gross inflows, a notable rise above both the six-month average of $189 million and the long-term average of $182 million, according to figures released by the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP).
With this addition, total inflows since the scheme’s launch in September 2020 have reached an impressive $11.313 billion, underscoring the growing confidence of overseas Pakistanis in the country’s financial framework.
Net inflows, which exclude repatriated funds, stood at $180 million in October, also higher than recent averages, reflecting sustained investor trust and continued engagement from the Pakistani diaspora.
Meanwhile, the SBP’s Treasury Bill (T-bill) auction held during the month raised Rs493 billion against a target of Rs550 billion, amid strong participation.
Total bids amounted to Rs1.56 trillion across various maturities, signaling robust market appetite despite a slight shortfall from the target.
The three-month T-bill segment led the auction with Rs347 billion in bids, of which Rs318 billion were accepted at a cut-off yield of 11.04%, marginally below the secondary market rate.
The one-month bills also drew significant interest, with Rs791 billion in bids and Rs112 billion accepted at 10.99%. In contrast, the six-month papers attracted Rs357 billion in bids, with Rs15 billion accepted at 11.05%.
Weighted average yields remained largely steady, standing at 10.97% for one-month, 11.02% for three-month, and 11.05% for six-month papers. The overall auction’s weighted average yield settled at 11.32%.
