In Karachi’s Korangi area, two people were killed and one injured as a result of firing. The police have started investigating the incident.
According to rescue officials, the incident occurred near Al-Hai Mosque in Korangi 100 Quarters, in which one person was also injured.
Rescue teams transferred the bodies of the deceased and the injured. The deceased include 40-year-old Noor Nabi and 32-year-old Ilyas, while 25-year-old Ismail was injured.
Sindh Interior Minister Zia-ul-Hassan Lanjar requested details from SSP Korangi and directed that immediate response and all police measures be made effective and successful.
The Interior Minister said that through a comprehensive investigation, access to and arrest of the culprits should be ensured, and elements spreading fear and terror in the area should be arrested quickly.
