Pakistan Muslim League (N) Senator Irfan Siddiqui’s health has further deteriorated, and he will not be able to vote on the 27th constitutional amendment.
According to details, due to Senator Irfan Siddiqui’s critical condition, he has been moved to a ventilator. He is currently on oxygen support, and doctors have advised him complete rest.
Reports state that given Irfan Siddiqui’s current condition, it will not be possible for him to attend today’s (Monday) upper house session, during which the 27th constitutional amendment will be presented.
On the other hand, government sources say that the government still has a two-thirds majority in the upper house and has the support of 64 members required for the approval of the amendment.
The 27th constitutional amendment will be presented in the Senate today, and some members of Parliament claim that the amendment will also be passed today.
